Ocala, Florida lays claim to being the horse capital of the world. And small wonder. Silver Springs also features a winter/spring outdoor concert series that showcases the finest in pop, rock and country music. Classical music lovers can enjoy the Ocala Symphony Orchestra, the Marion Chamber Music Society and the Marion Civic Chorale.

Dance aficionados can enjoy performances by the Ocala Dance Theatre and the Marion Performing Ballet throughout the year. Theater buffs can count on the Ocala Civic Theatre for an enjoyable mix of comedy, light drama and musicals.
